What counts as an address
The extractor requires a name, an @ and a domain with a real-looking top level: at least two letters after the last dot. That single rule filters out the two things that pollute most extractions — image filenames like hero@2x.png and CSS at-rules like @media. Anything that survives is lowercased, because mail servers treat Alice@Brand.com and alice@brand.com as the same mailbox.
Why deduplicate before you send anything
A pasted contact list usually holds the same address three or four times: once in the body, once in a footer, once inside a mailto link. Duplicates inflate the number you report, double the cost of a paid send, and make a small list look bigger than it is. Deduplicating first gives you a count you can defend.
Grouping by domain tells you something
Grouped output is a fast read on where the addresses come from. Ten addresses at one agency domain is a lead worth a single careful email, not ten cold ones. If your list is dominated by gmail.com and outlook.com you are looking at individual creators rather than companies, and the pitch should change to match.
How to use Email Extractor
- Paste the page or list you are working from.
- Choose whether to group by domain or keep the order.
- Copy the clean list into your sheet.
Email Extractor FAQ
Does it upload my text?
No. The extraction runs in your browser — nothing is sent to a server.
Will it catch obfuscated addresses?
Not the “name [at] brand [dot] com” style. Those are written to defeat scrapers, and guessing at them produces false positives.
Can I export the list?
Copy the result and paste it into Sheets or Excel — it lands as one address per row.
